Had my first repair performed at Lim’s this week. Lim’s is tied for number one spot on the island to get automotive work done. The nice thing is the two shops do have different talent so it’s a tie. The best aspect of Lim’s the atmosphere of trust. You know when you are dealing with straight forward technicians and staff. Pricing probably reasonable, maybe very reasonable. I asked what the problem could be on a front end issue causing tire wear, ten minutes later the problem was presented to me, once parts came in a one hour fix which is how long they said the repair would last. After living in Waianae over 30 years, if I am taking my car 30 miles away to get repairs that should say something.

Came in without calling. Needed to replace my tail light (I already had the part). They gave me a fair quote before they worked on it and it was done quickly. My experience with them was excellent! Good communication, excellent service and fair prices!

Went for a safety check before and after transferring my Texas plates to Hawaii plates. Didn't wait long at all and he was nice to lend us tool to remove my old plates. Great service overall.

I picked up two of my cars from Pasha, shipped from the mainland. I needed to get safety checked and I was only on Oahu for the day for pre-employment (flew in from Hilo). I went towards the end of the day, but they were very friendly and accommodating to my special circumstances. I was able to get both cars safety checked for out of state transfer without any appointments.

There’re so honest and affordable. I had a crazy estimate from another place to get my shifter cable replaced and called Lim’s to get a second opinion. They managed to inspect it and find an alternative and cheaper way to repair it instead of replacing it. The car was ready the next day even though I had it towed to them last minute the day before around closing. I paid less than 1/6 of the estimate that I had gotten from the other place. Thank you Lim’s!!! Now I know where to go whenever I have car troubles. So quick, honest, and trustworthy.

These guys are the real deal! Best group of mechanics I have taken my truck to in a long time. Prices are competitive and reasonable, work is outstanding, and customer service is top notch. I had an entire HEMI engine swap done and was absolutely floored by the customer service, transparency, and updates that were given along the way. As a military family we move a lot and you never really know what your gonna get when you PCS to a new place, bring your cars here they have earned my business for as long as I live here. As a life long DIY'r as well, its hard to find a place you trust you will not be disappointed with LIMS AUTO SERVICE.

Wow! Lim’s mechanics worked on our 2006 Toyota Tacoma Pre Runner truck front steering-column and ball joints replacement, including a new gear shaft bushing-within two days. Steve didn’t not charge us for the front wheel alignment which was needed for fixing the steering portion and Steve threw in an oil change. Verdict is Awesome Service for Lim’s Auto! Mahalo Steve and his mechanics.

Best trusted Auto Body! I was serviced without extra charges. Honest about costs and there’s no surprises. Like every one said, you can’t trust people that much anymore but here, they won’t rip you off! You can be at ease knowing you are being taken care of fairly. They are very knowledgeable as well and professional. Highly recommend!

Safety inspection was quick, professional, and easy. Zipped in and out. Colocated with another auto shop, all the way in the back. Need cash for the inspection. Will be back!

Come here if you need service! They're quick and honest. A little hard to find since they are in the back, but talk to the staff and they will help you out or give you honest feedback. Wish I'd find them sooner but I'm leaving soon, otherwise I'd be their customer for life
